Home Depot + FIFA: The Customer Experience

World Cup 2026 has been a huge initiative in Marketing at the Home Depot.

I began working on creative solutions to enhance the customer experience in 2025. These included pitching ideas for in-store workshops, website enhancements, commercials & signage to elevate the Home Depot as a supporter of FIFA.

This project wasn’t thinking about metrics, it was about building excitement and loyalty. Marrying the Home Depot Brand with FIFA, creating bespoke experiences & thinking of the customer journey as a whole was new to many people working on this project. My team stepped in to provide a way to create these bespoke experiences on the website, releasing a hotspot feature where users could map out an image with different links. This allowed the creative team to break the mold and create a unique experience for soccer fans & customers.
